The services sector of Tauranga like any other growing city is quite big, for example the retail industry which is concentrated in the CBD of Tauranga provides many jobs for shop managers, salesmen, shop assistants, accountants, and stock controllers etc, the outer suburb areas in Tauranga have shopping malls and shopping centers such as Fashion Island, Fraser Cove, Palm Beach Plaza.
