A model’s resume is usually the duplicate of that which he used for the previous work he did. A model’s resume is similar to an artist’s resume as they are both professions in the art industry and thus have to submit sample work with their resumes

Unlike the artist who submits a hard copy of his work a model should have a portfolio that has a list of jobs that the model has done before these include plays, training , movies, television and other special skills for example skateboarding , juggling and horse riding.

There are some models that have done a lot of gigs and they only have to list on their resumes events and functions that are of importance or those that are related to the job they are applying for. A good resume divides the experience of the model according to the type of work he has done for example the divisions can be titled commercial, television, film and stage and that gives the recruiter the sense that the model is organized.

The model would have to include any recognition that he or she got from his or her peers that is any honors or awards. Academic and training that one might have went through should be detailed along side the different affiliations he or she belongs to. It is not advisable toile about special skills that you may have as when you get the job you may be asked to perform them. The length of your resume should be one page and you should include your picture in your portfolio. You should have an email address just for your model resume and not for any thing else and the rest of your contact details must be up to date .modeling may be a talent but it does not hurt to emphasizes your education so as to make your resume much stronger .if you are looking for a job that is a photo shoot then it is advisable that you put in your resume photos of your self from your best model shoot.

Past experience is worth a because it means you have had experience before are not going to suffer any camera nervousness and if you have had successful shoots before then the recruiter will be expecting a certain level of professionalism from you .it is best to list in points the details f the work that you have done in the past. Being someone who is experienced then your resume should have a certain level of professionalism. Modeling is a job that needs some one who can handle the challenges , the odd hours of work and diversity of the jobs that you will be doing as they is little room for specializing.

There are many occupational hazards that come with modeling so before one divides into the industry it is best to do some search. After t6hat you can do a honest self introspection and see if you are well equipped to handle them
