The city is the capital of the district. It is a transport hub, a number of roads and a railway station that links the city to the capital of the country. The city is land locked and the climate that the city has allows for agriculture to take places.

Agriculture creates employment for a lot of people; they are farmers, farm laborers, truck drivers and climatologists who help the farmer with the weather and what to plant at a certain time. The agricultural sector also has jobs that come off it indirectly people you work in factories packaging the produce and those who load the produce into Lorries… The transport industry sees lot of tax drivers and train drivers as well as conductors.

Due to the high number of trains that operate in the city there are a lot f engineers and mechanics that look after the trains. The engineers look after the railway track. The wildlife sector in the city provides people with employment as wildlife game rangers and tour guides for people who want to vie the different animals it has to offer. Due to the city’s water problem water conservationists are needed to come up with, train and implement methods of conserving water in the city. There are schools that are privately owned and they hire foreign teachers so that they can teach foreign syllabi to their students. The textile industry hires a lot of factory workers who manufacture clothes and they are designers as well that are hire to design the clothes. Quantity surveyors, plumbers, builders, general labor, brick layers are needed in the construction industry.

The construction industry also needs other professionals like projects managers, accountants and administrative assistants to take care of the business side of construction. Call center agents are needed for firm that have tool free call centers for their customers that need help in installing mainly their electronic devices. The hotel industry caters for a few professionals a well like waiters, chefs and barmen. The city does not have a lot of career prospects for a foreign unless if you are highly skilled.
