Jobs in Karachi – Pakistan
Karachi is the largest city in Pakistan and is the world’s largest city in terms of population. Karachi is still the financial capital of Pakistan and offers fabulous job and investment opportunities. The city has an excellent economy rate and generates about half of the revenue as compared to other parts of Pakistan. The city is also well known for its political and racial violence. The government has to take severe actions to control the flow of refugees from Afghanistan and Iran. Anyway, city of Karachi in spite of few tensions has still managed to compete with the major cities in Asia.
Karachi is still an important financial and industrial center and controls the foreign trade of Pakistan and major Asian countries. Most of the public and private banks located in Karachi offer secured jobs for people in finance and banking field. The Karachi stock exchange which is the largest stock exchange of Pakistan offers excellent brokerage jobs in the city.
Karachi has always attracted foreign investors more than any other city in Pakistan. The cheap labor and excellent transportation network has allowed investors to open big projects in the city. Many multinational companies have their base in Karachi. The industrial sector in the city is the biggest industrial area of Pakistan. Approximately there are about 4500 factories in Karachi that mainly includes Textiles, Pharmaceuticals, Steel, and Automobiles. The industrial area plays a major role in providing plenty of employment and job opportunities.
Karachi is one of the most prosperous industries in Information Technology. Many advanced foreign software companies have their base in Karachi. The automobile companies such as Toyota, Suzuki motors, Adam motors, etc also offers lot of secured jobs in automobile sector. Karachi, located on the coast of Arabian Sea is the biggest fish harbor in Pakistan. The fishing center provides employment to thousands of fisherman.
Hence, besides all controversies the city of Karachi has stood firm like a rock, and is still serving Pakistan with the best possible results in economical field. It seems as if Karachi has accepted the challenge of competing with major cities in Asia. Every major step has been taken to attract more investors and the goal is to offer plenty of jobs to the new generation.
