Geelong and Surf Coast are cities in the state of Victoria. Geelong, a port city, is the largest regional center in the state and in the league of the largest cities in Australia. Historically the area is known for its wool, gold and mill.

The jobs that can be found are for the mayor, councilors, urban planners, administrators, accountants, maintenance, and waste disposers community and social workers, and healthcare.
Tourism has made significant contribution to the economy. The region attracts domestic and international tourists to its sandy beaches and magnificent coastline. There are also rainforests which are scenic and have been protected for nature lovers to enjoy. Accommodation and transport are a must in this sector. Resorts, hotel, apartments are available for visitors to stay in. there is the privilege of car hire, boat hire as well as plane hire. Sales agents, booking agents, marketers, hotel personnel, tour guides, and life guards amongst others are needed in this sector.
