Fredericton is the capital of New Brunswick province in Canada. The city has an ever growing economy which has a growing IT and commercial sector.

Fredericton has a number of research institutes whose main concern is policy development, agriculture, forestry, and engineering. These research institutes work in collaboration with the city’s two universities as well as the government. In recent years, Fredericton has been experiencing increases in student enrollment at the city’s universities and that has led to a greater demand for rental property. The city is predominated by universities thus Fredericton has not been subjected to the severe economic fluctuations faced by other Atlantic Canadian cities that have had to deal with mill shutdowns and the declines in industries such as the fishing industry.
