Fire fighters are real life heroes who sometimes do not get all the credit that they deserve. It is a tough physically demanding job. The resume that one must have to be a fire fighter or fire investigator must not be lengthy just a brief description of skills experience and achievements.

The financial and planning responsibilities that you would have and how you would tackle them, you have to showcase such abilities. The best way to show the experience that you have is to highlight some of the major accidents that you have tackled and the contribution that you put in.

Knowing how to be a good fire man is not enough but you have to show your ability of handling and maintaining the machinery and equipment that you use on a daily basis. So having a certificate on maintenance of a truck and maintenance fire fighting equipment will be an added advantage. The relationship that you had with other law enforcement agencies is a cruci8al as they have to work together. The projects that you embarked on and how you handled the finances of that particular project.

It always helps if you are ken to show how initiative you are coming up with new measures to fight fire or better yet to prevent them. Fire fighting departments are part of the local government and thus any cost effective measures that you may introduce are welcome as well as improvement in revenue collections and becoming more efficient. Lastly any contributions or activities that you might have under taken that were a huge benefited you employers, awards can come under this as they give your employers free and good publicity.
