Dunedin is the second largest city in the South Island of New Zealand, and is the principal city of the region of Otago.

Dunedin also generates some revenue from other forms of tourism such as ecotourism. The region is home to several colonies of penguins, seals and other animals. This region is very rich when it comes to animal diversity thus the reason why the place is able to attract a multitude of tourists.
