Customer Service Resume

You should first and foremost explain or write a statement detailing what you can bring to the organization as a customer service officer. Present you character in a positive manner, for example you can say I have the ability to command the respect of the staff and I can carry out policies that are already in place. To add further to this you can link some of the qualities that you have to the various other jobs you have held in the past.

You can say leadership, communication skills and problem solving are the qualities that I possess due to my experience as a teacher, store keeper and customer service officer. When stating your educational achievements and other jobs that you have had try by all means to include words that are related to customer service. The words you use as well should be aligned to the job that you want. Skills that you have, you must state the skills that you have especially computer skills; another added advantage to you is if you can speak two or more languages, making your communication with customers easier.

When detailing your experiences in the different jobs that you have held start with the most recent. Most people will always list their big achievements and leave out those they think are not important, the thing is if no one else could do it then it is an achievement. You have to include achievements that seem small. Fro example I managed to reduce the overhead costs from supplies through my ability to negotiate for a different price, being able to keep a very well organized stock management system place and I changing the times of delivery.

You can also say , I come up with the first quality standards committee even in the wake of disagreement from management and I then turned my attention to the upside of knowing customer service and management quality and this had an effect not only on the culture of the organization but the bottom line as well. You must remember to link all your qualities and skills to the balance set of the firm.

The various clubs that you are a member of you should include as well. When including this organization should not only list them but also use them as an opportunity to display your skills and experience and use action verbs to describe your involvement in these clubs you should put information that is accurate in you resume. Your resume should be ye catching as most research have shown that most human resources managers spend about ten second looking at a resume.

You have to be smart person to be in customer service so you should hand in a resume that is neat and you should pay attention to detail. Remember that you want to impress someone so why not write about how you will help them and how they will benefit and not hoe you will benefit, this is especially true when writing about past employers
