Cebu is regarded as the fastest growing provinces in Philippines and the economic track record is improving day by day.

The Department of Trade and Industry in Cebu is targeting and promoting to develop this industry. Many small and medium furniture industries are provided with all modern equipments and tools. The aim is to produce export quality products that can help to increase the economical condition of Philippines.

Cebu is the main educational center in the central region of the country. It has nine large universities and many schools and colleges specializing in various courses such as Medicine, Engineering, Nautical courses, Nursing, Law, Computer and IT, etc. The literacy rate has improved a lot in the recent years and this is really a good sign for development of whole country.
