This is a city in Saudi Arabia. The country is best known for its oil reserves. The city has a desert climate and it is the capital of the Al-Qassim province. Agriculture is the rock of the city’s economy the city hires a lot of agricultural experts so that it can help the country reduce its dependence on oil when it comes to exporting. Farmers, researchers, general labor and environmental experts are hired to improve the city’s agricultural sector. The city being a desert area it has to irrigate the land that it uses to grow it cereals. Civil and water resources engineers are needed to undertake such work. The city is into growing cereals and does not venture into other forms of agricultural produce.

Administration and support people are wanted by most businesses in the city. Support services include professionals like laboratory technicians, purchasing officers. The lab technicians must be experienced in the food industry. The city has all types of jobs from part time to full time, an example of a part time job is being a secretary for business people who visit the city this could be just for the weekend or a few days. Information technology is one area that the city is looking to hire many professionals especially computer programmers. Computer operator is another job in the computer services industry that one has to offer. The city is trying to promote growth in its industries so it has gone a long with government plan to privatized industry like telecommunications the effect of this is that jobs that were previously for locals are opening up to foreigners.

Techicinas and network analysts are some o0f the jobs that one can get in the city. The city has not had a good reputation whe it comes to equality in hiring of employees so they are various opportunities for women to gain employment in sectors like computer programming and full time engineering. The city is located center of the country and thus does not have any oil rigs like other cities and hence it relies on agriculture.
