Adelaide is located centrally on the mainland. This makes it a strategic transport nucleus for east-west and north-south routes. The Adelaide metro is the main public transport system. It is comprised of a bus service, metropolitan railways and the metropolitan tram. Adelaide International Airport is the newest and most advanced terminal in Australia. The airport was rated as the world’s second best airport in the category of 5-15 million passengers.
